American Flag Wall Hangings built to this standard are hard to find. I am one of very few to hand carve out stars on every flag I make, giving every flag unique detail and attention. Every flag is 100% handmade. These flags make perfect gifts for family members, friends, or patriotic households.
I have had the pleasure to meet many people who have served or have family who have served and I am thankful for the courage put forth by our armed forces members.
The flags are made from pine wood. The pine is torch-burnt by me giving it a rustic look. Once burnt they are wiped with an oil based stain, keeping the grain of the wood visible through the stain. After the stars are carved they are burned as well, to keep a uniform and consistent design throughout the flag. All flags are clear coated to seal and protect the wood. This way you can hang your flag in your house, in a shed, in your garage, or even outside on your porch. This is the largest size of flags I make. They fit well in sheds, garages, in large rooms, and even outside of your house.
